Meow!!

I have FINALLY found a type of cat that I am NOT allegic to........
Thanks to Daddy's idea, the girls went of their first treat-or-treat adventure. I am all about fall, just not the scary halloween spirit. I am embracing the "cutie" halloween spirit! It was a bit chilly but the girls had a wonderful time! They were so proud of their little buckets of treats! Tessa was so helpful, holding her sisters hand. They wanted us to be right by them when they went to the doors. Ella makes the best "Meow" sound I have ever heard! Way to go on this one Daddy, you know how to have fun with our girls!! Thank you Grandma Sherry for the ears and tails....your little cats are thankful!!

Mom & Her Friends....

I was so thankful and excited that my Mom and her friends made recently. They were up visiting near us for a getaway girls night, and they payed us a visit. The girls and I enjoyed coffee and dessert, and some time to visit. I should have taken a photo of them! I love seeing mom with her friends. Those ladies have know me since I was born, and they have always been very special to me. Furthermore, they are so important to Mom. There is such a special connection with those friends who have known us for so long, yet they still love us :) That group of ladies and seen each other through so many things, the celebrations and the challenges over the years. They are a true testament to what a true, honest, caring friend should be. I love watching them laugh and act like young school girls! I was so glad they took time out to come over and visit. Tessa thought it was so exciting to have some of "Gamma's" friends at our house. She set the table and sat with us like a little lady, acting so grown up with her milk in her coffee mug! Thank you ladies for coming by,....come again!

Fallin' into Fall

There is some thing so innocent and simple about jumping into the leaves. I can remember it as a child, the smell and the sound of the crunch! Fall is my favorite season, although I love the changes of all the seasons. The girls and I have been reading fall books lately and Tessa asked if we could go and jump in the leaves like the kids in the book, OF COURSE!
They were giggling and throwing leaves at each other, all in good fun! Then, they decided they needed to clean them ALL up, they learned quickly that it was a big task that we needed to leave some of it to the wind! It was a great time, well, except when the time was over....the girls were not happy, they wanted more and more of the joys of fall. Look at those magical smiles!!

Little Miss Independent.....!

Ella., Snuggly? YES! Silly? YES! Indepedent? YES!!!...
Is it that she is the younger baby girl? Is it that she adores her big sister? Or is it just Ella...... She likes to try it on her own.....at the bright age of 22 months....I think it is just her personality. She will try, try, and try again! Yet, when she sees that it is just not making it to do all by herself she will ask us,
"Help, Pees, and rub her belly with the baby sign for help!
She is a girl that knows what she wants and .....well, goes and gets it......You go Girl!

A Day at the Orchard

Ours girls L-O-V-E animals! It was a perfect fall day for the apple orchard! The smiles were from ear to ear! Tessa and Ella were both fascinated by the animals and being able to get up close and personal with them! Although Ella kept calling the goat a "dog-dog", she had a ball petting all the animals. We had to carry her away from the rabbits, she kept opening their gates and letting them out. Tessa was not sure about riding the horse until she was assured that Mommy would join her....then Ella had to take her turn as well! We are so glad that both girls are so fond of animals.....I see some time with 4-H animals in our future.....I think all three of girls would enjoy that....we will have to sweet talk Daddy-O!

Being the Daddy of Girls!!

The King of Our Castle is Such a Good Sport!
Kevin is an amazing Daddy and Husband. He enjoys that his three girls love.....life in the country, being on the tractor, working in the yard, watching football, going fishing..... We certainly do love all these things.....But the three of us also love clothes and playing dress up.... and there just comes a time where Dear Daddy has to be "in the mix" as Tessa likes to say! So while we are country girls at heart, we love our girly things as well. Being a Daddy of two girls is some times cause for joining in .....
And, it is just another reason why we LOVE him so much!!
and then when the girls went to bed...he watched Monday Night Football!!

Learning some VERY important things....

Tess LOVES her new class at church! It is called the Flock and the leaders are Shephards....Even the name is special! Ella gets to hang out with Mommy in the nursery which is a special time for the two of us. Here are the girls all ready to go to The Flock....
Tess really looks forward to Wednesday nights. She has been singing all her new songs and Wednesday night when we said bedtime prayers, she said she was happy to have a fun time learning "The Jesus Our Father Prayer and all about baby Moses". Her excitment it precious.

All is calm....

I couldn't resist capturing the calmness as I checked on the girls tonight! It was a calm evening. We played at the park this afternoon, and then we went on a walk while we were in town! The fall fresh air is so enjoyable, it also has a way of tiring us all out! Both girls love their bears....Ella also loves to sleep with her blanket, another bear, her binky.....the girl knows what she likes!
I wished I would have had the camera at the park tonight, the girls were swinging next to each other, they are growing so quickly. Tess walked up to her hand tile in the park that was made just last fall, her hands have really grown, and that she was able to find our family brick in the walk. This time last fall Ella was just starting to walk..... The many changes that come with each season!!

Fond of Fall.....We are glad it is here!

"I want to be a cowgirl when I grow up, and have a lot of horses and pigs in our new barn!"
The girls are very excited about the barn project, we all are. It is a wonderful thing to be doing as we begin Fall! It is such a beautiful time of the year....I am not sure what my favorite part is??? The leaves, the smell of fall, the pumpkins, farmers in the fields.... Playing outside with the girls with sweatshirts on.... WE are certainly Fond of Fall!!
