Here They Grow

One of many symbolic representations of our girls....Growing!  Tessa brought this home during her last week as a Pre-K"er" as they are called!  She has learned so much this year, and she has benefited so much from her teacher. A true blessing for her first school experience.  We are so happy that she was able to learn, make friends, and grow in so many ways.  AS her school years continue we continue to hope and pray for this continued journey of joy!

Check-Up

It was one of those "hit the pause button" moments. I picked Tessa Bear up a bit early from school for her 6 year check up....6 year check up ...oh my!  I always savor those moments of just her in I in the car to talk about life in her 6 year old World.  So simple, innocent, and real!  We journeyed to the doctors office and continued to have Tessa and Mommy fun time.  She was so talkative, smart, and fun to be with. 

Four shots later, with no tears....our tough cookie... we went for a treat. Of course we did. A milkshake, many smiles, and special moments to share, it was great! She is growing up right before our eyes!  We love her and want to hold tight to each special moment! 

Tea Time and Mommy Day!

I sure have fun with our girls. We enjoyed a mother-daughter tea at church and it was full of special moments.  Both girls were all about dressing up for the occasion, which was exciting in itself.  Tessa was all about picking out the dresses and the bows...that is our fashion girl. 

We enjoyed tea, punch, snacks, and learning how to decorate a cake.  They were both little ladies!  They even were helpers in the kitchen, helping clean and put away the dishes.  I was so proud of them, watching them being involved and wanting to step right in and help out.  I am so humbled by the opportunity to be their MOMMY and to have the moments we share.  God knew what he was doing when he blessed us with girls! 

"6" Years Old!

 Happy 6th Birthday to Tessa Elizabeth! She taught us how to be parents, she brings joy to our World, she keeps us on our toes, cracks us up, and knows how to snuggle & melt our hearts!  We are so blessed by our "peanut" and we know that "God Gave Us Tessa" for so many reasons and we are thankful everyday for the gift of our Girl!  She is growing up so quick, we want to press the pause button!  God is so Good!

Up on Stage!

Tessa and Ella are such entertainment for our household!  It is without a doubt a guarantee to have laughter, smiles, and warm feelings with our girls around.  They love to sing and put on shows for us! This evening was particularly entertaining because of the effort the girls put in!

They practiced, got into their costumes, and were SO excited to perform their "play".  They pretended that Ella was a flower, Tessa watered her, and she grew. Then they danced. They put in so much effort and they were so proud of themselves. 

Zion can be noticed in one of the photos with something in her mouth... of course she was acting like a puppy. She might be 8 years old, but she still can't stand it when she is not getting the attention she thinks she deserves!  There is always fun lingering at our house....Precious Times!
