Daddy has another helper!  She is in his shadow....and he wouldn't want it any other way. Either of the girls hear there is a home imporvement job, they are ready to go to help out!  I love watching both girls with Kevin, he and his little girls!

Movie Night!

 Fun with friends! One of the joys of winter is looking forward to our get togethers and a sleep over wiht our friends.  Our husbands are busy this time of the year, so we find a reason to hibernate and have a relaxing evening! 

We make pizzas, watched movies, listened to Kevin play guitar, laighed, smiled and had a wonderful time with dear friends! The kids played well, Jamie and I were able to visit, and then we were able to go and watch Eva on the basketball court. We had fun cheering for Eva, then eating too many chips at Hacienda!  A special time had by all!  Some times the simple things in life are the best memories!
 

A Fun Visit....

 The girls and I made an improntu visit to Indy to visit Grandma and Popsey.  We went to Katie's Birthday dinner, it is hard to believe that she is 19 years old! Besides that we just took it easy on Sunday!  Tessa was excited to have her curlers in to sleep, Ella had to match, not that she needs to enhance her curls!  It was calm, relaxing, and enjoyable.  Kevin was thrilled to see his girls when we returned, when he came home work he said the house was way to quiet.....  Thanks for a special visit Mom and Dad, it is always a joy!

Look what's Baking!

There is never a shortage of enjoyment or help in the kitchen at our house. The girls hear the pots and pans and they swoop in to help and taste!  I love their company in the kitchen and their help as well! 

Valentine's Day

We may have been "under the weather" on Valentine's Day, but that did not hold us back from having a special dinner!  The three of us girls made a visit to the doctor, picked up antibiotic for our coughs, then came home to make dinner for Kevin and Tony.  We enjoyed chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, veggies, and sparkling grape juice!  It was a special evening for our family, and for sharing it with our favorite family Valentines....one another!  

Messy and Fun!

Tessa says to me "We live in the country Mom, getting messy is just part of it...." she has heard this before.  I am always thrilled with the girls willingness to be creative and do so art.  Sometimes there is a project in mind, but often, it is art free-time.  That is when they seem to have the most fun, it is also when they seem to get the most messy, I should say when WE get the most messy.  Kevin build us the best creative station area in the basement so there is a wonderful space for art time.  Fun memories in the best place....home!

Valentine's Day Preparation

 Saturday fun.... Tessa made Valentine Cards for her friends!  She was so meticulous about writing everyones name just right. She took her time and was so creative about her hearts.  I was so proud of the thought and kindness she put into each one.  She wanted to pick just the right colors and shapes for each one of her friends!  I love her creativity and joy when doing art! 
Then, we painted fingernails and toenails with pink glitter of course!  Love that are girls love to be girly girls at times!  Special Saturday Joys! 

Imagination!

After they took a bath the girls wanted to get into their "horse" clothes to take care of their horses.  They have it all figured out.  They learn from being at Lorene's House.  Tessa loves to go out and help with  chores, taking care of the horses and getting eggs from the hens.  They learn so much! When it comes to being farmers as they call it, they imagine a lot.  In this photo they had taken their horses "out of the stalls" then they were watching fireworks in the sky.  "I will hold you Ella if the noise of the fireworks scares you"....Protective sisters.....imagination station at our house these days!

The Boys are Here!

Our household had some extra kiddos for the SuperBowl!  Indianapolis might have been an exciting place for the weekend, but so was our basement!  We enjoyed fun food, many cheers, and fun with the boys!  We all had so much fun!  When the Patriots scored, the boys went wild cheering....Tessa says, "Silly Boys, they are funny aren't they Mom?"  Ella said, "My boys are here!", it was a fun event and memorable evening for all of us! Glad to share fun times with fun friends!

A Grand ....Grandma.....

 We are so blessed by Grandma Sherry!  We had her celebrated her birthday and had a wonderful time together as a family!  They say when you marry, you marry the family.  I am thankful for this, Kevin is an amazing husband and daddy to his girls, and his family is so special to all of us.  It is our family, and I think of it in no other way.  From the moment they stepped in my life they have made me feel welcome.

Grandma Sherry is special to all of us!  There is not a day that goes by that we are not thankful for our entire family and the presence of them in our lives, it makes it complete.... a true blessing!  Happy Birthday Grandma....Mom...Sherry.... you are an amazing woman, a wonderful role model for us all!
