SURPRISE!

 "Celebrate" -Ella  This was her comment when Daddy told us the news of our surprise!  He wrapped up a box full of t-shirts, magazines, a stuffed Mickey, and love.....He planned a getaway to Orlando, Florida for his girls.  He gave me just under 24 hours notice before we had to depart the house to drive to Indianapolis for our flights!  His girls were so excited, I love how much fun he is, SUCH A SPECIAL SURPRISE!  I was the most excited of all!  I am not quite sure how he kept it such a good secret, but he did!  Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Anniversary, Happy Days! I had been working on all the details of Thanksgiving meal plans etc. and he had to tell our parents so they knew that it was not going to be at our house this year!  I am so thankful that I have been getting all the decorations for Christmas up this past week!  Thank You Kevin! 

Go Colts!?!?

 The Colts are having a tough year, but I am not a fair weather fan!  Kevin still took me to a game.  we enjoyed some Kevin and Kim time!  The Colts did not win, in fact they looked really rough, but  it was an enjoyable day with my fabulous hubby!   The Veteran's program honored the service men and women and it was very touching!  Thanks Kevin for a special Sunday afternoon!

Kickin' Back at Grandma's House!

 Time at Grandma and Popsey's is full of fun, good meals, shopping, playing, and beyond all other things... relaxing family times.  The girls enjoyed a "brown cow" AKA rootbeer float, or as the girls call them "Moo Cows! "  simple joys!  It was a treat for Katie to be home from college and to spend some time with us!  Then, Katie and "aunt Kim" went and had some time together shopping, a real treat!

 These little ladies love to be helpers!  They see some fun going on in the kitchen and they are right in the "mix" as they call it! Fun memories! 

Weather Confusion

 It's sunny and 70 degrees, it is snowing and 32 degrees,  it is windy and 55 degrees.  There has been some weather confusion lately, the best solution....have everything and anything prepared...and have a good time regardless of the weather....embrace it and enjoy what we are blessed with!   Kite flying is always a good option ....especially while riding in the gator. 

Wanting to Help!

 There is no shortage of help in our house! These little peanuts love to be helpful!  It was their idea to clean and "do some tidying up"while I was cooking dinner!  When the girls do something, it is thought out!  We had to get out the rubber gloves, spray bottles, and the mop.  Their interest is shortlived at times, but today they wanted to make sure it was all done. Then, I had to close my eyes for the surprise.  Little worker bees!

Applesauce and some snuggling!

 What to do on a cool fall afternoon? Make some applesauce.  My little helpers did most of the cooking.  They had a great time and they tasted as much as they put in the applesauce.  Daddy telling his girls that it was the "best applesauce he had ever had..." made them just smile from ear to ear!  Then, Tessa wanted to go and get dressed up like Lorene in her apron and bonnet, can you tell she looks up to her!
